課程概述 |
化學數學 I Mathematics for Chemists I
1. 先修科目:
Calculus I, II
2. 課程綱要:
(1). Distribution and coordinates. (i) Solid angle. (ii) How to describe a distribution in different coordinates. (iii) Center-of-mass frame. (iv) How to obtain a partition function.
(2). Probability and error analysis. Examples in shot noise.
(3). Rate equations in kinetics. Examples in the first order, pseudo-first order, competing, and sequential reactions.
(4). Complex number. Amplitude and phase. Wave equations. Fourier analysis. Examples in polarization of EM wave. Examples in RLC circuits.
(5). Symmetry. Examples in spectroscopy.
(6). Other useful math tools.
